new project looking for suggestions

hello everyone, i am new to this forum and looking forward to being a part of it. i just picked up a 1976 kz750 twin that needs the works. all the parts are there (i think) but its far from running. i want to do a full resto but im not sure if i want to cafe it or not. do you guys have any suggestions or recommendations on pipes, pods or anything else from past experience. i have worked on a few bikes before but nothing this involved. just hoping for some guidance to get this project started... :lol:

But anyways.. My buddy with his 1976 is blue and white.. When I finally get his bike.

Yup.. I'm going to do a Centanial 1976 red white and blue a cross between an Evil Kneivel and the great "USA"

I'm probably wrong but I think the 750 kawasaki was a twin triple and a quad..
I want to think a single but I think I'm dreaming.. But anyways a motor with so many configurations is beautiful ..
