The signals and stanchions will be coming back with my mother in law as she happily was planning a trip to Kelowna anyway :) Have ordered a set of gaskets srx.ca.ebayrtm.com/clk?RtmClk&u=1H4sIAAA...trksid=e100084.m1843 to start doing a refinish on the engine. Finally found something to get the baffle out of the V&H.May have thrown out the end cap though..Will see if the local dealer can get me a new V&H baffle or if not I may fab my own end cap.

Gaskets and stanchions are here now B) The stanchions are in great shape to,one has a tiny nick I'm going to use JBWeld to fill just to be safe. The signals are not in very good shape but I got such a great deal on the stanchions I'm not worried about them. Remembered I did have the end cap for the V&H but just can't find it  It's here somewhere

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configuration.May have thrown out the end cap though..Will see if the local dealer can get me a new V&H baffle or if not I may fab my own end cap.

These pet feeding bowls can be used, just the right shape in bright stainless and cheap as chips, find the typw without the rubber slip ring. I used one in my supertrapp.

Wrinkle paint on the cam cover, as per original, good attention to detail there.

keep at it, these bikes always take me years to finish -then when 'finished' the little minor modifications continue years after.

The wrinkle on the cam cover is sort of a trademark GPz thing I really like. When I got the Eastwood PC kit and and seen the black wrinkle PC it was what I needed for this without any doubt.Going a little off stock I'm doing SS case scews instead of the black.Wanting to get a big insurance break here by getting a Collector plate www.icbc.com/vehicle-registration/collec...lector-vehicles.aspx means I can't go far off stock. Not that I'd want to,the GPz is just to cool to begin with :)

The headlight ears and passenger peg carriers are satin powder coat, the grab bar and kick stand are gloss PC.The engine, coil and electrics mounts are Appliance "Epoxy" like the frame.I'm loving having a blast cabinet and my home PC kit! Swing arm is done to,four new bearings(2 is stock, lengthened 750 twin sleeve ,a grease nipple and new pivot bolt.
