I couldn't help myself........guys brother took the topend off due to smoking issues and left it to rot. It shouldn't be to hard to get her back up and running. Even came with a nice Kerker 4 into 1.

I was looking at that one,...phila craigs list. Great price. Did you get the cams and see how rusted were they? I have a 80 ST and was thinkning about using it as a parts bike but don;t have the room in my garage. When I bought mine it was apart also and now it is running fine. Mine needed valve gauides. It still needs a good paint job.
I have an after market wind screen that I am trying to figure out how to mount. If you get a chance and can provide some picks on how yours is mounted that would be appreciated.

Yup! That's the one. Yes, the cams are shot but have another set. I too was going to use it as a parts bike but its pretty clean........I had pretty much the same bike back in high school but was bright yellow. I like the black better now. lol

Yeah, I'll snap a few pics when I get a chance, PO did a nice job mounting it.

Love my ST. Plenty of power and smooth on the freeway. Good luck on the rebuild!

Jim, here are some pics. This is the same mounting kit thats on the ST. On my old ST, I used the bar mounts but used some L brackets under the headlight that mounts to the brake splitter. This bike has it to the headlight bolts and to the side of the fairing.
