Think its one time I contribute with a thread..
As the headline says, this is only mock-up of my Z1000a from 1978

I like the drum brake, but that one seems a bit smallish. What's it off of? I like the look.

you have a nice eye for what looks right.
i have raved over wm bikes so much it is cool to get to watch yours come together. :evil:
really cool how you went about building your handlebars.
i like the fact that you went with the drum brakes,they look good and should stop just fine.

The KZ1000A bike is one of the best to work on- the proportions of the frame and the lines of the engines is my favorite!!!
Ive started to do the frame work- reinforce etc....sorry forgot to take pictures due to the night just ran away suddenly.....
Had this pipe cutter made when i did the Featherbed865, and it still does the job.

Very cool if a little underbraked :lol: but i really love the stance of it and those neat clipons have given me an idea for one of my bikes. Up front are you leaving the forks as is or do you plan on shortening them ?

Looking good lars! Can you post some more pics of the tube cutter ? I'm currently building a KZ1000j3, yes with the square head ;) , and you guys has been the biggest inspiration for me!

Will be following this one!
