Frame is finally ready for powder coat. I got the oil cooler mount and steering stop welded on yesterday.
The last two pics ate the electronics tray. I will be mounting my R/R, M-unit and Starter solenoid to.

Thanks Leon, going out to powder coat today if I can get off work early enough to get it down there. That means reassembly can start Friday on my day off.
I painted the cases Midnight blue POR 15 engine paint. Frame, oil pan, cam cover and side covers will be powder coated Almost Chrome (looks like semi-polished aluminum).
I have a trick intake planned. The Henry Abe "bread box" air filter has severed me well but it think I can do better. I am going to build an intake that goes from the carbs to underneath the seat to a single filter. It will look like a header collector but for intake instead. I can't build that until my engine is back in the frame. Can't wait to get her put back together, the nice cool riding season is upon us here in sunny AZ.

That's a custom air box which is very nice. Assuming you build that one. Mine will look more like a very short header.

Looks great so far! Can't wait to see it rolling around town here :D

I think it may have been on this forum, don't recall, but I saw someone had used PVC elbows/T's to create an intake like what you're describing, looked pretty rad.

If your in Mesa/Phoenix area we will have to hook up when it's done and do some riding.

Its just a job that pays the bills and allows me to build a bitch'n bike. I have been in low-voltage for a long time. Comcast out east, used to own my own business once upon a time doing data, telco and cameras. Makes no difference to me who anyone works for. If your in the 2 wheeled brotherhood your cool enough for me! Cheers!
