Polished her up earlier and my daughter took a few pictures. Got a new rear grab rail coming. Also going to put a new rear fender either the wider KZ or maybe narrower LTD, but not sure. Need to shut it down and put my new OEM fork tubes and I have newly rebuilt and painted calipers for the front and rear to put on also.
1980 KZ1000 LTD-B4(MK II engine) - Progressive suspension, MTC pistons, Dynojet Stage III, all wear items replaced, WFO paint scheme(1978), etc..
Past bikes- 2 1976 Kz900's, 5 1975-76 Honda CB750's, Honda 500 -4, Honda 250, Honda 125, Honda 100, Suzuki RM 250, Honda XL350, Kawasaki KLR 650, etc..

I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

Hi, is that oriiginal paint?, I was under the impression that the cardinal red colur was for the 78 LTD only, great looking bike you have, mine are all painted black, I would like to have a red one as well, being a purist I like them with a LTD seat.

Yes it's a 1978 paint scheme which the old owner had redone by WFO. I bought the KZ seat and removed the Corbin Gunfighter solo seat. Just my preference, but I never cared for the stepped LTD seat myself so I went with the KZ and also have a KZ grab rail on order.
Thanks for all the compliments and I have been thinking of painting up a set of Black skins and alternate the look now and then, but who knows.
