Great street bike project. I know most guys here don't go for the Hot Rod style. But would love to own it!
Go with the LTD style, fit some regular side covers on it to match the tank and tail piece. I know all the drag racers put the flat Z1R style just for function. I like the stock side covers.
and M/T makes a street tire with a couple groves to make it DOT legal.
Great start. I have had a few projects going on for years also.
Other things take priority like buying and selling 2 houses, and restoring my 1975 Harley FLH I have owned for 32 years.
No one on this site will critisize you. (just get rid of that green! :lol: )

no I love the bike, it is along the lines of what I build.....just don't like upside down, or funky pictures is the point I was trying to make.

That huge rear tire will definitely make it fun to ride but it will look fast sitting still. Keep it going and keep us posted.

On the motor, if you ride during summer in a zone where temp is 80 to 100......I would stay with the stock block. Stock blocks let air flow threw them and cool much better that a solid block like a MTC block.
When using the aftermarket solid block....the engine will get really hot and can cook the valve seals as you sit for a red light to change for example. This has happened to a friend of mine.....we were hammering on them and got caught at a red light....as we sat the heat rose and cooked the valve seals. Later down the road, the bike started smoking.......these engines get really hot really fast.
A turbo is the best power for the money. You need to decide to go turbo from the beginning. It is a different type of build than a hot street build. If I build another bike, it will be a 1075 turbo setup.
But for a hot climate....I would do a 1075 or a 1105 if stock 1015 block can be used. 1105 on a stock 1015 block is really pushing it as there is not much left of cylinder sleeve at 1105.
