Nice start and story kawi ;) + a most sensible idea :cheer: and definately much better than selling it.
Which forks wheels etc are you planning on useing ? The 6 speed i am also curious, would this be the GPZ550 one which some racers use ?

The KZ550 6-speed transmission can be installed in the KZ650. You loose the kickstarter when making this change, and the kickstarter hole in the clutch cover must be plugged or a non-kickstarter cover installed. Here's a thread on the subject. Ed
