Picked up a 1984 Yamaha Venture royal last night
so I can keep the G/F off the KZ.
Buddy Eric got it last month from the orig. owner
and let me have it for the $1000 buck's he gave for it.
Last taged in 1989 and been store'd inside since so
it'll need a little work to run.

The to do list.
Clean gas tank.
Go through the carb's.
New tire's'
Service all fluid's
Little wiring work at the fuse box.

Started stirppin it to see what's needed to ride.

Gotta fix this mess.

Even has a CD player.

Started diggin the tank out so I can clean it out
and damn there's a lot of chit need's took off
just to get to it.

A little wash and wax she'll shine nicely. Seems no major oil leaks, grime, rust so would think up & running soon enough. Console seems to be in good shape as well.

You'll actually be surprised how well these big old beast are balanced & handle on the road... Same here, wife just wasn't comfortable on the KZ nor does she wan't to go fast, so Battle-Star-Galactica aka Big Red (Voyager Xii) is perfect for us.

Sure she's not going to pull like the KZ but she'll get up and go w/2 up passengers and cruise nicely.
