79 Bobber Update

Finally got some time to work on the bike

Still on the to do list is solo seat springs, mount other shock tab, finish battery box, finish re-wiring, mount the rear fender and front brake and I have to make a pin for the gas tank cap and mount the tool box

Getting closer!!

Your shock angle seems way to steep, like more likely to bend the shocks than give you that nice boing action

they were just the old ones I had laying around for mock up. I'll be using some Harley hard-tail struts they just have not showed up in the mail yet the shaft in the middle is 7/8 to an inch in diameter so they keep true to the path they are supposed to travel, pretty heavy duty but I see what you are saying. Another alternative I had thought about was moving the lower mount somewhere closer to the middle of the swing arm. later down the road I am going to experiment with the GSXR solo spring and swingarm.
I appreciate the input.
