First you want clean the outside good, I used a toothbrush and ACV,I plugged all the hole with blue shop towels and used VHT flat black. The VHT might have been overkill but I know they have quality paint. Mine were completely disassembled for a stage 3 jet kit. Really simple just time consuming, but I went over all my plugs and masking a few times, worth it though they turned flawlwss

Don't even attempt it. Carbs are hard enough to get running in the first place. Seriously. PAINT your carbs? c'mon.

I'd stay away from painting your carbs...the fuel will just eat up the paint and with today's ethanol based fuels it's even worse, just check out what ethanol does to rubber fuel hoses never mind paint.

Just throwing something out there... maybe someone, some time will try this... you need to find a good shop to do it.

Electroless Nickel Plating. There's an old post or two about it in the Archives of the old KZR by KraZe2.
The carb tops & bowls were done but not the bodies. The linkage parts n stuff were also done.

KraZe2's carburetors... not mine.

Didn't some models come stock w black carbs? How about using a spray gun & polyurethane? Or paint them w VHT & topcoat w a 2k clear?
