79' kz750 cafe

Just started my project looking to do a few mods. I'm just working off of the manual and not to experienced. Here are the things I'm looking to do.

-Cut excess frame
-Paint frame blue
-Paint rims $ front forks white
-Paint engine and tank flat black
-Everything else chrome
-Mac 2-1 exhaust
-Fiberglass cafe style seat
-New rear shocks(black springs and crome)
-Different headlight, brake light, and turn signals
-Gold chain
-Clubman handle bars
-Yellow and black grips
-Bar end mirrors

NEED ADVICE ON THIS:
*Have Mikuni BS38x2 carbs(unsure if I should just rebuild or if putting different parts would increase performance)*
*Want to make the bike sit lower unsure how though*

Brake upgragde:
Brakes- 77’-80’ KZ1000 12” Brake rotars
-83’-85’ GPZ calipers
-95’-96 GPZ1100 master cylinder
- Stainless steel brake lines
*Read this upgrade online* Not sure if its worth it? Maybe just do the stainless brake lines?*

Paint test

So i realized that I used high temp paint on my tank. It has to be cured(which I never did), and when I touch it comes right off. Has lead in it too. DOH!!
