Yikes! You let it "warm up" for at least 30 minutes? :blink: These are air cooled engines. They are meant to be ridden so air can pass over the cooling fins and dissipate the heat. Letting them sit and idle for 30 minutes without a fan on them is a sure way to fry them. Ed

Sorry Ed I just meant I had been riding it for about 30 min before I got on the highway, it only sat for about 10.
