first question i have so far is :
does anyone have a picture of how the seat latch looks on this bike and what part i need to get ? all i keep seeing is the helmet locks...
second the dyna ignition package , will that replace the factory cdi box thats under the battery tray or the little one that says ignition on the front facing side of the tray?
i have alot planned for the bike... as of now its being prepped to have the frame, forks and swing arm powder coated... the plan is all black everything and im painting the body work the orange paint from the 2012 series z1000 or 650r

The bike's electrical systems include the ignition system (which has its own separate components), and the charging system (which has its own separate components).
The I.C. Igniter unit is a stock component in the bike's ignition system.
The I.C. Igniter isn't used with Dyna-S ignition.
Here's an example of the igniter as compared with a regulator/rectifier.
The regulator/rectifier, often located under the battery box is a required component of the charging system.
Good Fortune!

Lots of good info on kawasaki.com, including parts diagrams, part names, part numbers, models sharing same part, availability, etc. Here's a link for help with navigating the site and finding information.bleedgreen1990 wrote: ...anyone have a picture of how the seat latch looks on this bike and what part i need to get ? all i keep seeing is the helmet locks...
