Hello, just joined and figured i would post the start of my project. Got this bike for a steal and the guy said it ran but the tank was off. So i hooked it all up and the starter motor started to go, so quick fix got it turn over some and never fired up. Starter motor still acting up and i'm afraid it might be the starter clutch. Any ways i figured the carbs needed a good cleaning and they did. Got a new spring for one of the carbs b/c it was bad and most likely the cause of my fuel overflow problem. These are just pics i took the day i got it. Will be posting more and keeping this updated. This site has been very very helpful when in need of any information on these bikes. This is my second bike and i'm really looking forward to enjoying it. Thanks for checking it out.

Howdy. Is this going to be a stock type refurbishment? or something else?
Whichever, good luck with it. The E is my favorite 750.

Thanks Dave and Martin. It has been on uphill battle with a limited budget but its coming along. Took the carbs off and cleaned those, took off the starter motor and cleaned and fixed that all up. Battery was low so got that all charged and went to start her up and sounded good. Starter was strong, went to check the spark and that was not there. So now i have to figure out why i'm not getting any spark. I will have her started sooner then later, then its off for a good ride. Got some new parts in today that maybe me happy. Got my pod filters in, a new fuel filter, and my flout bowl gaskets sense they needed to be changed. Posting some pics of the pods on and the new parts. Sense the bike has had more then a few hands inside i'm going to just clean it up and go for a bobber/cafe racer kind of bike and make it my own. I'm thinking right now about a flat black and gold accent to give it kind of a 70's feel over all. Having a great time getting to know my bike and really hope to have here running real soon. will keep you all updated.

Just waiting on ignition box which i believe is in today and i really hope the bike will start. After many headaches and what the hell do we do now me and my buddy have narrowed it down the the ignition box or coils and plugs. We went ignition box when lack of power was showing up. If it dose not get spark its the coils which is just more money, its worth it thought. Also got some new mini black blinkers in today which i will be posting pics of once they are on and if i get the bike started will be posting a video of my triumph lol.

The day has arrived and my bike has come to life. Finally got it started. Went and put a new ignition box on and got nothing. It was even worse the bike wouldnt even turn over like it did before. I put up a post and some one said to meet the two posts on the starter solinod to jump start it if that makes sense, but over all it worked and the bike fired up after some time. After a quick ride in the rain i was looking to change out some led lights someone had put on before me and was redoing the wires and just for fun tried the electric starter. IT Worked. not sure how but someone grounded a wire wrong and when i washed my bike waiting on parts it shorted it. not sure but super happy it starts up every time and runs great. thanks to everyone on this forum that has helped. Here is a pic of the bike and two really bad videos, but ones of it running.
