Have you changed/flushed your brake fluid? If not you may find that makes quite a difference, especially if its been in there for at least 15 years.

It's a Kawi fairing made by Vetter. The serial # should start with K32. The same as a Windjammer IV without the leading edge turn signal/runing lights. Vetter called it the Vindicator for their own line. I've got one on my KZ1000 in silver. Yes, it is a good looking fairing.
