What was your motive(s)?

I would go f**cking crazy without a project to keep me busy in the winter!!

Starting out with a Zephyr would have been far easier - but perhaps less satisfying?

1. I've always wanted a KZ1000.
2. I've had good results moding other motorcycles.
3. Modern suspension and brake parts are very cheep.
4. Old Kawasaki's have great engines, but everything ealse is very dated.

I rolled up to Scottsdale for AZ Bike Week a few Saturday nights ago into a sea of $30K+ Harleys. My bike grew a crowd quick. I've owned Ninjas, Ducatis, CBR's... This is something so few have and I love the attention.

I have just as much fun riding this as my last Ducati S2R1000. Not as powerful but the same overall feeling :)
