Tail light projects.

How about starting a post for all of your tail light mods.
lets post all of your mods hear for easy look up purposes down the road.

i would like to start with the zx12 tail lt.
it seems to be popular, and i bought a lt myself. i have actualy bought a couple dif lights but none r as good a fit as i thought they would be.
i just need to see some more details on how u guys did your zx12 lt's. looking at mine, it seems that i would have to cut part of the undertail glove box away, to set the light in the way i think it should sit.
anyone have some detailed photos on how they did there's?

You may have to do some hardcore searching but I'm pretty sure I posted pic on mounting a zx12 light to my 1000. I'd search but I'm on my phone.

Just an old KZ light for me. I like to keep the charactor of the heritage. But that's just me.

I used a 05 CBR light and it fits like it was made for it. Easy install too.

Iv'e used the taillight from a 1999 YZF600r. I decided to use it because the radius of the top of the taillight matched the KZ tail. I needed to make a bracket to position the light but I think it was worth the work.

The taillight lense on my KZ650 was completely broken when I bought my bike, so I installed this one, which came from a Kawasaki ZX6R, or a ZZR600. I used some rubber material to adapt to the stock mounting plate.

stock kz900 tail light and cover, mounted to the little 1 inch return for the tool tray bump out underneath the tail...washers inside the tray with a bolt,washers inside the tail light with lock nut....

I used an old 86 Honda nighthawk I really light but my shick wasnt set right and I exploded it
