This reminded me of how big buckles got back in the `70's. As the fashion of the time dictated, large buckles were in. I remember at age 15 going for a walk in the late evening with 3 older girls (cousin and two friends) while on vacation in the UP of Michigan. Some dude seemed to be following us on our walk. I took off my belt and whipped around a few times over my head with our backs still towards him. Then looked back and no dude. So we ran anyhow. :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

I like the chain wrap idea. Just one wrap. Then , you'll need suspenders to hold your belt up. :lol:

na it never pokes me hard. i smoothed the sharp edges also... and i thought about wraping some chain on there and you could offset it even more so it rides lower....
