Finally got her done so here is a few pics.
Here is where I started. You can't really tell how bad the paint is from this shot:

You can see how bad the discolotration is from this shot:

The guy who painted it works at the feed store where we get our horse's feed. He said he could paint so I gave him a shot. The bodywork and paint were all done without a booth and in the back of the feed store.



I did most of the stripes myself but I had a hard time with the compound curves on the tank. The trick is to thin the stripes a little and apply them above the curve on the bottom of the 750 tank.

And the finished product:



Not bad for $350 plus paint.I am very happy with it.

That did turn out great! How did you end up getting your stripes to lay down. That tank is tits.

Thanks! The tank stripes were a PITA. I don't mind telling you this was the 2nd set of stripes I purchased. The problem is the compound curve on the bottom of the 750 tank. The KZ1000 and GPZ1100 tanks don't have that curve. The trick is to narrow the stripes a little and put them on above the curve.

Thanks Everyone. I can't give enough credit to my painter. I've got three more bikes and two more cars for him to paint!
