Picked up this beauty for $200, kept in a Hanger for the last 10 years. It ran when put away, but does have a bad gear in the tranny. Otherwise the bike is really good shape for its age, even the inside of the tank is shiny! Chrome on the front fender looks like it just came from the factory.

1976 CL360 (sold to beauty)
2003 VTX1800C (Trophy Winner wrecked when I was rear-ended)
2006 GL1800Navi(My road sofa)
1981 KZ1000CSR (The new project)

Nice grab for 200. What have you done so far to try and get her running?

I bought an 82 for 400. A year later and she's almost done.

I am looking for an ignition switch though, so if you end up parting her, please send me a message and let me know what you want for your switch and key.

If you don't end up parting her out, you are at the right place for all kinds of help and great advice to get her running again.

I picked up this 1981 CSR 1000 in Tulsa 3 weeks ago for $400, took $100 (battery & used voltage regulator)to get it up and running. Your $200 "hangar find" sounds like a great deal to me.

Completely up to you, but that bike looks Way to Good to Break it up.
Get it running, it owes you next to nothing at the moment. Think of how much Fun it will be to ride.

I second that - I know photo's can make things seem better than they are, but Gee.....that looks like a solid bike. Too good to part out for sure.

Jesus, that's a beautiful machine. Don't part it. Where are you located?

Side note: Wonder if the rear hub would work on a shaft bike.... Hmmmmmm....
