OK. when I got this bike it came in primer black. so far I've cleaned the carbs, painted the tank and side covers and did a little bit of cleaning up on the engine.
the exhausts are next. I haven't decided what to do with the frame yet. I want to paint it a metallic orange but it will be hard to get one with that nice deep orange I have on the tank and covers. still hunting for kawasaki Emblem's for the tank.
over the winter I might chop it. no bobber though. I also plan on relocating all of the turn signals, add a headlight scoop, a better windshield, new mirrors, bigger bars, and forward controls.
I have a before and after for the paint but not the engine clean up..
the paint is Duplicolor Metalcast with the base coat. I put a lot of the Metalcast on it to get that deep dark orange.
