...I agree, the 650 had some of the nicest looking stock pipes out of any of the old rides.
...very happy I was able to find such nice pipes and at a great price.

...still have it. It needs to be cleaned up and painted.
...might keep it, might sell it. Not sure yet.
...I put those pipes on just because I wanted to hear what they sounded like. They're for the cafe project.

I think the stock pipes will really make it. Just got a super crossover pipe today. All I need are 4 connection gaskets and clean everything up. That bike was a great design throughout!
Gotta look, they're out there. The 550 LTD isn't bad either, and with just over 400 miles on it. Shit, that's God sent!
Getting a Bill of Sale as soon as the guy gets back from vacation. Turns out all you need is a BoS and you can get a Title.

...Installed the stock exhaust system on the '77 C1 today. So glad to see it looking like it should.
...Sounds awesome, too. I like the sound of a header, but this bike needed a stock system.
...Pix!

...I agree, that's why I spent the bucks. It's twice the bike with stock pipes in my opinion.

...The '79 is the one I need to get going on. Time to turn my attention to the engine. Then I can finish up the wiring and get onto the paint.
...Then there's the '82 GPz 750, somewhat in limbo until the '79 is finished.
...It's supposed to be in the 60's all next week, first time for that, so it'll be easier to get outside and get things rolling. Can't wait to get all three projects finished. Until then, I still have THIS TO RIDE!
... :woohoo:
