2 ideas:
1. Soak the screws for a couple days with Kroil. It will help break the bond between them and the engine case. If you cannot find it locally you can buy it directly from the manufacturer:
www.kanolabs.com/
or here;
www.amazon.com/Kano-Kroil-Penetrating-li...-KROIL/dp/B000F09CF4
2. They are not Phillips screws. They, like all the cross head screws on KZs are JIS screws. Here's more about them:

vise grips and the best bite you can get after the soaking
or if that dont work and you booger it more
drill it and tap a easyout bolt extractor in if that fails...then use a wrench on the square easyout shank straight and slow....but if you put the vise grip on straight and very tight clamped...they will turn out
oh and you'll need new screws..da

After the Kroil treatment, could heat screw head with propane torch, and use a hand-held impact driver.

Took a Dremel to the 3 JIS screws made them into flat heads...Heated them up(propane) and with a 12v drill & flathead bit all three came right off.....Got the timing advancer moving as it should And Installed it On bike.....RUNS 100% percent better thanks guys!Went for a nice long drive....Only thing i noticed is @ 6,000 rpm it's a lil hesitant and burbly in the lower gears in the higher gears it causes it to not go past that unless i down shift....Could this be the timing is off a little bit?
