Just wanted to let you know that as I type this my a$$hole neighbor has a company at his house measuring for a fence.

I should feel bad but guess what ? I DON'T !

I'm not as happy as I would be to see a for sale sign go up but knowing they have to spend several grand to restore their perfect little world is a win in my book.

Looks like my fence project and Bi-level planter did the trick. :evil: :evil: :laugh:

My friend years ago had a feud with a fancy doctor nieghbor, driveway right next to his.
My friends dad, we were younger, put up a small chainlink hanging, parralell across like a gate, and packed it with heavy grease.
So when Doc and his paietents were not careful, they got a pant legs full of grease! :laugh: :laugh:

I'm glad to hear they finally figured it out - if THEY want a fence along their property line THEY need to buy it. If THEY want a new Porsche in their driveway - THEY need to buy it. The list is endless. Ed

Yep that pretty much sums it up. I just hope these bible thumping, Hyundai driving little weasels realize that now that they've got me pissed I'm not letting them off easy. They better be prepared to fence the entire 245 feet of their property line. I'm sure they are only planning on going far enough to cover the fence I put up, guess what? As soon as the property line is surveyed and his fence is installed I plan on cutting the zip ties holding my sheet metal fence onto my existing wire fence and moving it further back until I run out of sheet metal or I reach the end of my property line.....whichever comes first. :laugh:

Why I live in the country!

I just think it's easier when neighbors try to get along. I know sometimes that's not possible. That's when it's time to be civil and go about your business. There was a show (Dateline, 48Hours or something)not too long ago where 2 elderly couples kept having a line dispute. One man ended up killing the other and now he's in prison. To me, it's just not worth it
