I'm trading off my kz tomorrow to a guy from Seattle. So I get bored at work and start looking at Craigslist in Seattle in case there is something I can't live without since I'll be over that way anyways. So I come across an ad for a 1964 Yamaha 125 for $95. :woohoo: I call the guy and he is just walking in the door from work. He still has the bike. I tell him hold on and I send him the money on paypal. He takes down the ad and it's mine!. Then the guy I'm trading with says he will pick up that bike and bring both to me halfway across the state. So now I only have a 6 hour round trip instead of a 12 hour trip! The bike is complete not running of course but the motor is free. No title but the local mechanic will get me one for cost of the paperwork.

Nice score and it seems like little to no effort on your part. Gotta love that. I was noticing the G3SS in your avatar I remember those well, both putting them together out of the crate and later on when I was in HS my best friend had one. The funny thing is I managed to break my heel bone on that little 90 which is the only bone I've ever broken. Not a smart thing to be playing Evel Knievel while wearing platform shoes. :laugh:
