Nice project Roy, I bought a GS1100 a few years back that was in comparable shape, the owner thought flat black on every piece and part was cool. Used it as a daily beater and it treatred me well. What are your plans?

I just want to get it started and check the engine out. I will take it to Ohio. Who knows. It might make a decent bike. Roy

I've grown rather fond of the idea of having a shaft drive. I say the idea because I've only gotten to ride mine for 3 weeks before I started tearing into her. But no chain oil, or adjustment. Just take the drive off, put some grease in, change the gear oil in the pumpkin every now and then... simple. And the sucker had great throttle response!
I'm really looking forward to getting mine back on the road, can you tell?
And cosmetically, yours looks to be in better shape than mine. :)

I found a A4 (KZ 900) today. I am suppose to pick it up in the morning. It is rough also but they are getting hard to find. Roy
