Roy... Where on earth did you get a piece of cam like that? Also, when installing sleeves, they can sometimes push up on you as everything cools. It's good practice to nudge them in a press.

Roy,
If you need something for it and I have it, it's yours. All you have to do is holler
I take it you don't have a Kawasaki shim tool?

Thanks for the offer of whatever I need. A kick in the butt would go a long way. I have to get this engine fired, paint the other frame, and install this engine and then desigh a wiring loom for the bike. Roy

I got ready to install the cams last week and forgot I had drilled and tapped the caps for helicoils. That is a good thing as I remembered this after I installed the head. It would have been a bummer to install the head and them remember they needed drilling.
It was near 70 deg. yesterday and I installed carbs to fire the bike up but I couldn't find my key.I looked for a hour but still haven't found it.
I have the relay for the coils so I just put a jumper on the relay. I was 180 out on the Dyna as I had removed it checking to see if anything was broke.
Fired right up and idled without making strange internal noises.
At the rate I am going I should be done in 10 years. :S

I am going to have to get the bike finished because my Lawyer is bringing over a 1972 Z1 for me to work on and sell. Roy
