Harris Magnum

At the risk of boring anyone, here's what I picked up end of Oct 2011.......
Think we all like pictures
Its a 1981 Magnum MkI, built for a Kwak 900/1000 motor. Came with a 1000A1 lump & carbs.
The FRAME never been used with a working engine fitted - was at a University in the Motor Engineering Department for students.
First thing I did was sell on the Gixxer front end and the Ducati 916 rear end - everyone does USD & s/siders....

That is cool as hell!! I don't know that EVERYONE does SSSA's, I think the vast majority of kz riders run conventional forks and swingarms. Whatever you do though, that will be a bad ass bike! Nice score

Excellent find!
Any idea why all the extra parts are present on the Crankcase breather?
That sidestand is too bulky and needs to go. Not in keeping with the rest of the bike.

Nice pick-up, do you have any idea as to what year the frame was designed or
made in. Refering to period racing. We just had the Island Classic at
Phillip Island with riders from UK and NZ. It's on youtube, Jeremy McWilliams
won the overall event again.
