sorry about the slow response the front tire is a 120/60/17 and i knew someone would notice the sweet whitewalls on the tractor ;) got a few more pics. and i was wondering what kind of gearing everyone uses, right now its geared like the zx6 i still have the huge rear sprocket from the zx6, its quick as hell but runs out of rpm real fast

I dig the fairing, who makes it?
Did you keep the original instruments and head light ?

yeah i kept the stock gauges and headlight just had to build new brackets, cool part about the parts swap was that the only modification made was a small bracket that had to be welded on for the rear brake master and one for the resivoir, nothing else on the frame has been modified so if i ever felt the need i could put all the stock parts back on, but after enjoying a nice ride today i dont know if i ever will, oh and yeah 55 acres gets kinda hard to maintain so there is a little excess crap laying around that needs to be hauled off

On my '78 1000 with a Zx6D rear rim, I'm using a 18/40T combo with a 530 conversion. It seems a little lower than stock but not as bad when I originally ran a 18/45 combo.

i run 18/38 with a 190-55/17 rear tire and 520 chain conversion.
seems to be real nice highway gearing.

Bike is looking really nice! Paint looks professional. Did you do it yourself or have it done? The only thing I would change would be to put a nice chrome Kerker on her. And maybe paint the wheels gold to make everything pop (although the black still looks good). Yup, a nice Kerker would be polish it off nicely. Great work!

thanks for the compliments, as for the paint it was just done 2 weeks ago by my buddy chris, he used to paint professionaly, i used to work for him doing the prep so i preped and he sprayed, and i never thought of the gold wheels that may be just what it needs, i may have to check that out, and yes my plan is a nice chrome 4 into 1 once the new job starts bringin in some cash. as for the gearing, i got on the z1e site and figured out what i need, i currently have 17-48 with a 530 conversion like i said fun around town but thats it, 17-40 on a 530 would be close to stock so im thinking i'll play around with either a 40 or 42 tooth rear and see how that works out
