Ram, great work on the polishing! I love the look, but always hated the maintenance of polished aluminum

quick update: my layoff will be official in the next 2 weeks so progress will slow down my laundry list of going nuts on her in the coming months will be limited to a new tank paint job the monshock and wheel assembly.
I finally got a decent camera (really wanted a back tire)so at least the few photos i will post will be better I hope lol

I will get an hour or 2 of riding in (I hope) before it comes apart. I am afraid I am gonna have to sell my stock leftovers. I am mor comfortable putting that stuff in the spare bedroom neatly boxed up for future use.
I have a new camera so i hope the new pics will alot better representation of this build

it's supposed to be balls cold so I am gonna go pick up my brothers
trailer, since mine was stolen earlier this year.
went and rode it for couple miles decided I was asking for trouble
when I notice the speedomoeter was approaching 100 and I still had a
gear to go the thoughts of wait it has sat for over a month I havent
checked the air in the tires any of the fluid levels and I know the
fuel tank had been leaking
I'm not 20 anymore but damn it likes the cool air!
I pull it into the garage at my Daughters house and figure it
can sit there til I get it to the shop. Its new Years Eve
and my daughter, son inlaw and another couple are going out so
my girl and I volunteer to watch the grandbaby.
My son inlaw has a few tools he is into gunsmithing (got me an AK47
for Chistmas) He was showing me some parts he has made and told
me he would be off week after next if I just wanted to do it there,
he would bring the welder home tuesday and any machining we needed to do
he has some stock in his buddy's lathe and milling machine so why not
It's farm country and what good farm shop doesnt have a mill lathe
plasma cutter welding and fab equiptment. Its. a 2 mile drive from where we are actually doing the work but thats why you make templates right?
after about an hour after they ledt I decided whuy not. went out into the
garage and started taking sh** apart.
