Got a new bike
13 Sep 2011 01:31
I just paid for a 71 g3ss just like the one in the video. I have to wait a couple of weeks to get it cuz the guy lives about 4 hours away but will be coming through and will bring it with him. Its been sitting in a garage since 1982 but is 100% complete and the motor turns. He tried to get it running but it has no spark so it should be an easy fix. I have been looking for a small bike to make a cafe racer out of and this one is perfect. Now if it ran as good as the one the videoI would be set.

Don:
I don't know what you paid for the bike, but if it is decent shape, it could be worth a surprising amount...you may want to flip it. A G3SS in very good condition can bring US$1000 or so....and congrats.

I paid 300 for it. If I like it and if it's fun enough I might just keep it!

Dude that's schweet! The one in the video looks and sounds a lot like my little '66 A1 Samurai. Fun little bike to putt around on
