And here I thought all the clown talk had died down.

Welcome Payaso, can't wait to see pictures of your project. What donors did you get for suspension parts?

Wow, I think I just gained a couple of hat sizes.

Payaso, I would suggest that you try and use the GSXR stuff, front and rear. If possible, try and get the pick-up points on your frame as close as stock for the GSXR. That should help with the handling. Also, I believe that the Ninja swing arm is too wide to fit the KZ frame without modification. My GSXR swingarm fit right in. I just made my bushings with 0.050" flanges to keep the swingarm from sliding sideways on the pivot.

well heres a pic of the 900, the bike had a valve job and the PO left the head sitting on the bike, outside, in Ny, so basically the motor is junk, and im still waiting on the paperwork, i know where an 80 csr1000 is thats been sitting outside over 10 years, its a rusty pile, the tank has a big rusthole, seat pan gone, steering froze, but the owner has paper and its showing 6000 miles, he wants $200, but what are the odds the motor isnt set up? maybe a rebuild candidate?

i really like this bike, but unfortunately dont have a spondon frame and swinger layin around, an upside down busa arm might give me a similar look, i dont know how that would affect the handling though...

sheza def.rebuild candidate.
they have been rebuilt from far less.
there might be more usable parts on the engine than you think.pull it down and inspect the internals you may just need some pieces to rebuild the engine.
