Almost ready to start the restoration of a 1977 KZ650b. I have 2 donor bikes and a nice set of original painted body in my favorite Emerald Green.

There is a dime sized shallow puck and a missing piece on the lower pinstripe on the other side but otherwise the tank is beautiful. The side covers and tail are also beautiful with minimal flaws. As of now the only change from stock will be a set of Lester mags which I have already mounted a set of new Avons on. The build will be slow and I hope to have it finished for next spring. This is pretty much a placeholder. I will also take some pics of the sidecovers and tail. My father was to build this machine so he will be helping me in spirit. I think my uncle will be here too.

Take it from me cuz I found
If you leave it then somebody else is bound,
To find that treasure, that moment of pleasure,
When yours, it could have been.
