To install a rear Hugger or not, I have been wanting to see if might get some benefits of running a rear hugger as far as keeping spray or road grime from being thrown forward as I have no Inner fender , So I bought one to install , To be honest I'm not sold on the looks but I was thinking of function , I wasn't a fan of a full cover so I got one mid-size . I also went with carbon figured I could paint it If I didn't like the look. The installation fit wasn't too bad just have to fab up some brackets, right now it's just mocked up., let me know what you guys think. Cheers

I want to start by saying this is one of the nicest custom KZ's I have ever seen, I love it. I get what you mean with keeping the crap off of the rear shock which makes complete sense however I agree with you that finding something that does the job but still looks "right" is not so easy. Before I decided to build the full closing panels for my build I was toying with cutting a section from the original rear fender then adding a mounting flange to bolt to the cross member in the swinging arm (functional but subtle)
