Great job! Having been stuck at 95% on my project for the past 9 months, I appreciate seeing someone that can actually get'er done.

i highly recomend using Rustoleum 2000 degree header paint for the engine and just let the engine warm up and cool down a few times before going for to long of a ride,

DONT however use it on your tank

since i wasnt going to oven cure my tank ( lol ) little spots of gas takes it down to the primer :(

im going to have to find another flat black for the tank and a gas resistant flat or matt clear to go over the top

live and learn!

tanks for the comments

post pics of your flat black beauty!

WELL, the flat black 550 is still in the works...at not at my current residence (done some moving as of late). The tank is still gloss black though... I just painted the motor flat black when I had it out. Figured painting the tank flat black will be the last thing I do because the gloss job is still really nice.
