Picked up this seat pan today off of Craigslist for $10. Not sure how I'm going to mount it yet. Does it look too small?

Great Job Swing ! I have an old KZ750 I picked up last summer and got here running over the winter . Those old bike are cool . You have 2 good finds there . Just take you time and do things write and listen to the advise from the guys here they will not steer you wrong . They helped me a lot with mine .

That paint job on the motor looks sweet!
Did you paint it while it was together or apart? Did you sandblast them or something first or just clean it well?

@ apbling....just clean it up first. Next one will get the full strip down. (This the first one I have ever done.) The paint could have laid down better. Don't think it was quite clean enough in some places. (Plus I went too fast, tried to lay down too much at a time.)

My second attempt at mounting the seat turned out perfect. I'm very happy with it.
A buddy of mine is going to cover the seat, then some repaint and touch up, and I think I can call it done.
