Parts to borrow

Greetings! Hope no one thinks I am nuts for asking but....Its been a long hard winter and I am desperate to ride!! I am looking to borrow following parts for my 1975 Z1-B 900 Bike, parts can be rusty, bent , damaged etc. as long as they will fit the bike and are functional, I will pay shipping cost to me and back to you, figure approx. 7 weeks time needed to get mine refinished. Need: gas Tank, Both fenders, Tail Piece ( Figure I can ride without the side covers for a while! )
If You have any of these parts sitting around I could borrow for 6-7 weeks and are willing, send me a PM.
Thanks

Don't be such a Stu Pidasole :P

Ehem... I dont think "borrow" is the correct term. I believe you mean to say "donate"

Good luck.

Actually... you can't. Side covers are required for a safety, as the electronics must be shielded.

I know, stupid right.

Hi Stu and Tek9:)
Actually heard from a guy yesterday who has a rusty rear fender and front as well as an old KZ tail piece ( Think I can make that work?), yep he has agreed to "donate" them if I pay shipping,to tell ya the truth if I had something one of the forum members needed and I could spare it , I would. So yep I hear ya, but us Kawasaki guys ( especially Z guys!) seem to be willing to help one another, as far as the parts being rusty does not matter to me long as the are functional! ,! I have been riding since 1973, have had a lot of bikes and have never owned a "Trailer Queen". I will ride something rusty long as it goes and stops.:silly:
Still trying to figure out what gas tanks will fit the 75 Z1-B.so I can come up with one even if it needs a liner..do you know? Side covers? Never let that slow me down in the past, I'll figure something out.
Thanks Guys!!

Will likely bolt on, but be a little too long, and its flatter profile won't conform as well to the Z1's round tail light.
