1980 kz 1000 shaft tire and rim

i have a 1980 kz 1000 shaft, i am building a cafe racer out of , the factory rear tire is a 130 i would like to put a wider tire on it, are there any other shaft driven bikes with wider tires that i can match up with my shaft drive,and if not whats the widest tire i can get on this rim i plan on doing a few track days with it when i finish the project,thanks for the help

140 is the widest you can go,because of the swing arm.
The '79/'80 KZ1000st handles different than a chain drive motorcycle.
It will react backwards,rear will raise up on acceleration and squat during braking.
This is because the pinion gear is trying to ride up the other gear in the diff. .

Mine lifts in the front about 2 feet when I give it gas lifts again when I change to second gear.
