Last ride of the year

How many here can say they rode on New Years Eve. In Wisconsin that is. I backed the bike out of the garage to warm it up to drain the oil for the winter tear down. I thought,"it's 50 degrees out, might as well make it move while it's running." Maybe once in a lifetime it's this warm on NYE on the frozen tundra. So, off I go into a pea soup fog. Went about a mile before turning back. Got the oil warmed and drained, thus starts the project. Pictures to follow.

I thought about taking a spin today, but there is so much leftover salt on the road it would a month to clean off:(

Well I was too busy painting to accept the challenge, but I'll be in on the first ride of the year tomorrow. Texas winters are so hard. Tomorrow's forecast: partly cloudy, 10% chance of rain, low 46, high 66.

I would have gone out yesterday but I pulled my exhaust off the bike on Thursday to take it in to have it ceramic coated. So I did not have any exhaust system on the bike.

Same here....but you're right, it was warm here in WI. Cold today, though...back to Winter... *sigh*

raining most days here and hovering around a warmer 50's...buteven when it lets up, the roads are a constant black/wet spots still, mostly in the mid corner you find em...no fun......need a day of sun to dry it out.....warm it up to 60-64

just got back from a little ride here in florida.temp is 75 just slightly cool. needed a light flannel.
