guy's just wanted to share my old school project.. had been looking for a nice 900 kaw to fix up like some of my old bikes from the early 80's!! found a super nice 3 owner 76 kz900 that had period mod's done by original owner between 1976-1980!! bike had been stored for about 15-20yrs..
first pic is how i bought the bike and 2nd pic is after being cleaned and slicked up a bit.. have receipts where original owner had 1040cc powroll kit.powroll cams installed. gold anodizes D.I.D wheels. and receipts for the custom paint job done in 1980! still in very presentable shape for 30yrs old. last owner dropped it in his truck and dented the tank. but i was able to get a local custom bike painter to fix the spot!! have been replacing aged chrome where needed, aka finned clutch cover from ebay. new custom turn signals, new upholstered seat, new tires, velocity stacks, new agm battery.put a v/h competition baffle in the mac header.sounds great!! hopefully getting header black chrome ceramic coated pretty soon. just wanted to share my project with everyone.. the bike originally come from the detroit area. if any oldtimers from the detroit area recognizes this bike and know's original owner<joe angelich> would love to be able to contact him!!

Nice Scoot! I am wanting to do some upgrades to mine but haven't decided which direction I want to take it.

I really like it but I'm wanting to go more street fighter I think. Stuff is starting to wear out so I'm thinking it's upgrade time. When I bought it the PO had it strutted and that lasted about a day. It is my daily rider so I'm looking at putting a sport bike front end on it and some other stuff to make it better for the long haul. Right now about 70 miles is all I can stand at once.
