Thanks! That rear structure took a little time. It started off bad and after a few tries i got it how i wanted it! The trick is make it in 2 halves then weld the seam and them fit it over the bottom piece u make then weld it all up!

Wow I just now saw this thread. Killer job I normally don't like cafe style builds because so many are poorly done. This is the exception to that rule, tasteful, well designed and executed. I'd actually like to ride one like this. Hard to believe it started out as a Spectre. Good luck at your first show it should do well

Hey thanks Gringo! We did good at the first show. It got first in sport bike on sat and a second the next day at a diffrent show.

Thanks guys ! If you guys need any help/ questions im more than happy to help. These old shaftys work quite well and u dont have chain issues. Istill like the chain drives also.

Update: We have now 3 First place wins and one 2nd. The latest was scored a 99 out of poss 100 @ all vintage show on the river last week

HANDS DOWN, FAVORITE KZ CAFE I HVE SEEN. before seeing this i had almost the exact same idea for my kz750 twin as your original idea with first fairing. I am currectly molding my rear fairing similar to yours, its a little longer and will have a zx636 tail light in it, but i love this bike, color scheme is defenitely on point with the white frame and kawasaki green. LOVE IT!
