82 KZ 750 N1 Cafe/Streetfighter

It started life as a Kz750 N1 Spectre 1982. I have rebuilt the engine with new pistons and all bearings, I had the head ported mildly. All new daskets and seals. I went to a 4 into 1 exhaust header . I have fabbed up new mounts to get the earlier kz tank on it. I have the rearsets installed and linkage problems worked out. The rear master cylinder had to be relocated. I bead blasted the wheels and will leave them a natural finish ( they used to be a gold color. I lowered the frontend by sliding the tubes up in the clamps and cut about 1 1/2 inches out of the headlite ears. I installed clip ons and used the factory throttle assy ( for now ) I will probably go to a MX setup. The front fairing is on it But, I do not care for it much. I cut the back half of the seat/grabrail off and made up my own rear sheetmetal and seat area. I installed a set of Napolean mirrors on it. Why in the hell do they cal them Napoleans?

What do you guys think about painting ? I would like to go KX motocross green on the frame with a green tank and a white horiz. stripe on sides of the tank ? I can throw some black hi -lites ( like Kawasaki name on the sides of tank?)

Moto green would look awesome. Your off to a great start, loving every bit of it for sure.

Hey, Thanks alot!! I think I am going for the green. I think that would be sweet . I can't wait toget it fired up!! It should be in a couple of weeks. Then, I start the dissassembly for final welding, paint then reassembly. -Jeff:woohoo:
