Nice score! Ebay might be the place for the petcock but the same one might be found on a bunch of other bikes so look around. The float might just need adjustment unless someone messed around and changed it out with a different one.

Ya the guy I bought it from changed the float so it leaks gas from the carbs and I just ordered a rebuild kit for the petcock but the wiring is shot so now I need to order a wiring kit for it. :-( I thought it'd be about a week to get it road worthy now I'm afraid it's gonna be about 2 months very sad.

 I guess you've never read the maintenence chapter of a KAW Service Manual. It takes about a week just to read, let alone perform everything required.

GET THE MANUAL. It's a deffinate must if you intend to keep this bike.

Clean the tank and replace all exposed rubber, including fuel lines. Use an inline fuel filter. New oil in engine/forks. Check compression for baseline numbers, and look at the plugs for an indication of the previous running condition. Wheel, swingarm, steering head bearings. Valve gaps. Points/timing. Lots more...

A week on a find like that is some serious optimism.

You can get a replacement wiring harness for about $200 I think, but whats really wrong, cause in most cases its not just as simple as dropping in a "kit" of wires.

Good luck.
