I used to hate that style of bike but lately I'm really starting to like them. Maybe it's time...

I think it helps a lot that this one is twin. To me (I know, who cares) 4 cyl bobs are not proportioned right; the width of the engine detracts from the overall minimalist look of the rest of the bike. Of course, it also helps that this one is so clean and tidy.

I did a faux hard tail by removing the shocks and replacing them with struts. I lowered the back end until the back tire was nearly touching the cross piece of te frame under the seat. On the front end I slid the forks up in the tree as far as they would go. Giving it the bob look. I appreciate the kind words here, this is my first bike and first attempt at customizing aswell.

Ha!, well I just call it a rat bob because I did this whole bike in my garage using all kinds of scraps! And it's also my first bike, and I didn't think I've really payed my "dues" to call it a true custom like some of yalls bikes. Which are true engineering feats compared to what I've done with a hack saw haha

Great job on your first bike build! Really like the tank, keeps it proportioned well.
