LTD 1000 Not ran since 1986!

Just got this from my father in law who bought the bike for $100 years and years ago. It hasn't been run since 1986, only has 9400 miles on it. Cant wait to get this bike going again. Shot a bit of starting fluid through the breather, and she fired!!

Clean her up a little and ride it like ya stole it. The Kaws are very dependable resilient bikes. Do you have a title for it?

Florida is a nightmare state for problem titles. I know this from expierence on my KZ650. Check the laws in your state before you dump money into the bike.

If it hasn't been registered for 25 years, it is most likely out of the system. At least in California it would be. That should simplify things, but like it's been said, every state is different.
