here is my little kz 550 ltd just a few days into its "project" life. I really need to figure out something for the seat. Any ideas?

clubman bars. cleaned some spray paint off the frame. primered the tank black. its come a long way in 3 days.

it runs pretty darn well. I need to make some adjustments for the altitude i live at, but am hesitant because within a 40minute drive it drops over 5,000 feet. still deciding to Jet it for here or somewhere in between maybe.

also as the project goes on i am learning and thinking that this will be more of a fighter/rat bike. i would really like to add a 4into1 straight pipe, the previous owner hacked the stock pipes off. I am completely new to just about everything motorcycle wise. Before this the last "bike" i had was a honda xr80 dirtbike when i was 12. I would prefer to learn and do everything myself, over taking it to someone. Any and all help, information, suggestions are all welcome openly.

Go through the gallery and take a look at Trav's bike, then look for his build threads. He also started with an LTD550 and wound up with a pretty badass little bike.
