Carbs Cleaned......Anyone ever painted the bowls and covers? I am thinking of painting these because I don't think they will polish up very well. I also painted the bracket that holds the exhaust as well as some other bit's.

So a little more progress.
Starting to clean and rebuild the engine.

And I tried to paint the bowls and caps on the carbs. Gonna try 115 main jets for the pod's and 4 into 1.

Got the wheels and hubs powder coated and new stainless spokes from Buchanans. And some Pirelli sport demon tires........

Where do you live? The view out of your garage is breathtaking. he bike looks good. I would have personally laced up an 18 inch rim to the rear but i like the colors.

Thanks

I was killing myself trying to decide on the wheels. I was afraid a 18" would not fit with the stock swing arm in the rear. I was also considering going to a 17" on the front. But the stock rims were in mint condition so I just went with them. The front end of the bike should drop a bit once the engine is back in. No after what I spent on the wheels and tires I will have to live with it for awhile.
