I am thinking of painting these because I don't think they will polish up very well. I also painted the bracket that holds the exhaust as well as some other bit's.

And I tried to paint the bowls and caps on the carbs. Gonna try 115 main jets for the pod's and 4 into 1. Got the wheels and hubs powder coated and new stainless spokes from Buchanans. And some Pirelli sport demon tires........

I was killing myself trying to decide on the wheels. I was afraid a 18" would not fit with the stock swing arm in the rear. I was also considering going to a 17" on the front. But the stock rims were in mint condition so I just went with them. The front end of the bike should drop a bit once the engine is back in. No after what I spent on the wheels and tires I will have to live with it for awhile.
