1976 kz900 in need of TLC!
02 Jun 2010 22:35 - 02 Jun 2010 22:36
Anybody have an estimate on the value and any ideas ( the cost of your ideas would be awesome input too!)
Im either selling it, or taking the time to invest in it.
or if anyone is in florida and interested in the bike let me lol.

from your 4 year old pictures the biggest problem i can see is your fork tubes need to be replaced but thats not a big deal you can get the from z1 enterprises or forking by frank i think they are about 150 a pair. the first thing i would do is to see if it still runs.

It looks like my 76 KZ900 was in worse condition than yours, but I wanted to modify it. Oh, the bike when I got was basically free, traded a couple of hours of computer work for it. I've wanted a KZ900 since the high school.

the pictures are actually from two weeks ago. by the time I truly sell it itll be running, and because Ive seen her running and how she works I could never go lower then 900
the fork issue is made aware by my uncle whos says its possible the it can be scrubbed off. (the other forks isnt as bad) I know itll tear the seals up if its lower
Ive seen them on ebay and z1 in the range of 90-150 but Im waiting to see what my uncle finally says about that issue.
thanks guys for you help!
ya know, at worse.... you might see parts on ebay! lol

Well today was the day, I bought new forks for her and Im going to get other new parts for her as well.
I thinking of her as an investment, little money at a time.
