73 z1 saved from scrap pile
05 May 2010 11:22 - 05 May 2010 11:24
hey guys, been awhile since i been on this site, so busy with my shop, a friend of mine was helping a neighbor clean out her barn full of junk that was to be hauled away to a junkyard, the neighbor's husband passed away last year and just wanted it gone, my buddy knew i was into old kzs and mentioned to her that i might want to take a look at it, i went to check it out and decided this one is not going to the boneyard, she wanted 300 for it and i paid her for it and loaded it up, plate was last registered in 1986 so it sat for some time, missing a couple small things, but as my buddy helps her clean out the barn he is keeping an eye out for those things, some have been found, will try to get it running first before i decide to do anything with it. have 2 other kzs anyway 77 900 and 81 j

Hell brother with luck like that, finding a Mk2 should be a breeze!
I found my Mk2 in a barn, not run for way too many years, and covered in crap, that is how it goes, mine runs strong now though, as you can see on this site somewhere
